    The following points may be used as a guide to assess scrotal ultrasound:

    1. Are the testicles within the scrotum? 
    2. Is the testicle homogeneous? Focal abnormalities? Asymmetry? 
    3. Symmetric flow (=vascularization) present in the testicles?
    4. Changes caused by the Valsava maneuver?
