    Normal Anatomy

    The complete anatomy of the brain is too extensive to cover within this module. Therefore, only the most relevant anatomy pertinent to a stroke patient will be discussed.

    The brain parenchyma is supplied with blood through two main circulations: the anterior and posterior circulation.
